Hello, My name is Kevin Carpenter. I was born and raised in northern Maine. From an early age I new I wanted  to be a wood worker. I graduated from  Hodgdon High School in 1979 and went to work for various construction companies including the Hagan Cabinet Co. located in Houlton Maine were I trained to build and finish cabinets.  I started my own business in 1987  Carpenter's Custom Cabinets building and installing all types of cabinets and furniture. I built my first guitar In the fall of 2014 and have never looked back. My true passion Is building acoustic guitars from scratch. With the start of every guitar my goal is to challenge myself to build the best looking, playing  and sounding guitar to my ability.
